Saint Michael’s College
Hope Happens Here was launched through the Saint Michael’s College Athletic Department and the College’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) in September of 2015.
Our chapter is managed by an E-Board under the supervision of Shannon Bollhardt, our SAAC Advisor. We host awareness games, hold wellness nights, host “You Are Loved” days/week, work with local high schools, and continue to push and further our organization. Not only do we end the stigma at Saint Michael’s College, we help other college chapters get started, as well as work with high school Athletic Directors to get Hope Happens Here integrated in high schools.

October 2018: They hosted a “You Are Loved” week during National Mental Health Awareness Week and had pro snowboarder Kevin Pearce come speak about traumatic brain injuries.
November 2018: Saint Mikes HHH Co-Chair Pat Doherty spent time discussing Hope Happens Here and student-athlete mental health on Comcast Newsmakers.
